The A5 Side Pocket Fold DIY invitation card is extremely popular for DIY wedding invitations. It opens out to reveal a centre panel (for invitation text) and a pocket on the right hand side to hold RSVP Cards, RSVP envelopes, Wishing wells, information cards etc. They allow all of the extra items to be neatly stored & presented in the pocket instead of just being included as additional loose items in the envelope. The A5 Pocket Fold has a pocket that is designed specifically to hold our 5x7" / 130x185mm envelopes in portrait format with a neat all round border. (Envelopes & inserts sold separately)

- This DIY Invitation card is made with card stock that is made in Italy with green Hydro Power - no dirty energy used to make this beautiful paper.
- Unlike poor quality cheap coloured papers that are just coated white paper - this one is the same colour all the way through and doesn't have cheap looking white edges when cut! It is also double sided in colour.
- This beautiful metallic turquoise card has a very subtle gold hue & is double sided in colour. It is sure to be popular for those looking for a pearlescent or metallic turquoise, aqua or jade coloured card, and will be particularly popular for beach or summer themed wedding invitations, packaging or corporate events.
- Our A5 Pocket Fold Cards arrive flat packed for self assembly and measure 21cm x 15.25cm (or 6x8.25 inches) when folded & glued.
- We use & recommend Helmar 450 Quick Dry Glue or Helmar Premium Craft Glue for gluing the tabs on the folding pouch (sold separately)
- Tip : When working with scored cards, the bump on the score (or fold line) is always the inside. When ready to fold, place on clean flat surface with bumps facing up and gently fold the card over and align the corners. Whilst holding the corners together, gently flatten out the fold. For best results, make the fold sharp by rubbing gently with the back of a clean spoon.
- The invitation panel is normally glued into the centre panel and the right hand pocket can hold multiple information cards, maps, etc. and is even large enough to hold our 5x7" / 130x185mm envelopes. They can of course also be used to hold Information cards, Maps etc. Any centre panels or inserts should be at least 3 to 4mm smaller than the dimensions shown to allow room for the folds. (Inserts & envelopes sold separately)
- All of our A5 Pocket Folds fit into our standard C5 Envelopes, unless bulky decorations are used. Be careful if considering similar product from overseas as they are often a different size and obtaining envelopes to fit is difficult and relatively expensive in Australia. Ours are specifically designed to fit our standard envelopes & box sizes.
- This range of papers is laser compatible* and as a result it is the widely used for DIY wedding invitations and projects as many standard laser printers that can print on heavy card stock will produce beautiful results. Some have reported beautiful results with some inkjet printers but we don't recommend as ink performance differs greatly between brands and are slow to dry. Testing is strongly recommended for inkjet use.
